As the name suggests, the money tree is thought to bring good fortune. In Feng Shui, the 5 leaves symbolize earth, fire, water, wind, and metal.
Allow the first 2″ of soil to dry before watering. Water thoroughly, allowing water to drain out the bottom of the pot.
Keeping good care of your money tree also means potting it in a good soil. Something that is sandy and peat-based would work best.
As with many indoor plants, it likes to be placed in bright, indirect sunlight. These plants can also adjust to lower lighting if needed.
Although you don’t want to move them too much, you should ideally rotate it for even light distribution and even growth.
